I recently read a terrific book but i think
it's considered nonfiction not fiction. it's called the bell witch. it's based on a true story and was eventually made into a movie called an american haunting. i never
saw the movie. but the book is great. it's based on the diary of a witness to the supernatural accounts and who had "inside knowledge" of what was going on. it's written in "story" format, not like a normal documentary that is
usually dry and boring -- so it's interesting, fast paced and keeps your attention. and it's creepy as anything. you should give it a try. if you like stories about hauntings, you'll like it i'm sure.

several books on the bell witch which i didn't realize at first. the author/editor of the book i read, "the bell witch," is brent monahan.
